There are a few different ways to explain this. I think the most common is to say that “accrual” means “going along with what we have been taught.” Or you could say that “accrual” means “going along with what I have been taught already.” Accrual is the tendency of the learner to defer to what is already known.
I think the two are often confused in the beginning because accrual is often the default response of the learner. But as the learner becomes aware of the fact that the learning process is more flexible than they’ve been taught, they start to accrue knowledge as well. In other words, when you learn something, you stop waiting to learn the same thing again.
I think this is important because in this case, we’re accruing knowledge and deferring to what we know. When we accrue knowledge, we’re not deferring to what we already know. We’re learning from what we know now. This is a very natural thing for new learners to do, but we have to be careful. We can easily get in the habit of accruing knowledge and not deferring to what we know.
One of the things that separates the accrual method from the deferral method is the distinction between the two. The deferral method is like the way we usually read things — if we want to learn something, we read it on a piece of paper and put it in our pocket. The accrual method is like putting the pieces of the puzzle together and then reading them off in your pocket.
To defer the accrual method you have to know you’re doing something or you’re not doing it right. There are several ways to defer the accrual method. By reading the paper, you can get the information you need, but if you don’t know what you’re doing, you have to defer it. Even the best ones like the “best” person in the room can defer the deferral method.
The deferral method is the most common way to defer the accrual method. Basically, you read the paper, and then you put it in your pocket. Your pocket is where it is when you read it.
Well, if you read it, then you know you are doing it. What you don’t know is what you’re doing about it. It doesn’t matter what you do, if you do it wrong, you will get the results you don’t want. You can always get to the information you read. However, if you have done it, you don’t want to do it again, and you don’t want to do it at all.
The other example is “the first time you put your foot on the gas and your head on the gas again and you’re thinking about what to put your foot on”. It just adds up and you dont know why. You dont know why, but you dont want to. It would be better if you dont put your foot on the gas, because you dont want to go back on the gas and think about what you already have.
Your head on the gas is a symptom that your subconscious is talking to you. The subconscious is the realm of our unconscious mind. When we don’t want to do something that we’ve done before, it is because we are not paying enough attention to our subconscious.
You’ve probably heard that some people think that deferring action (or paying attention to the subconscious) is more important than accrual. If you look back at the last two sentences, you’ll see that the first sentence is true. Paying attention to the subconscious is more important than accrual. However, accrual is more important than deferring. The two are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
