We can’t always get what we want. For example, I’ve never been a fan of giving away money. I don’t mean this in a bad way. I’m just saying that I get the feeling that most of us would rather not give.

Ive written before that we tend to take our needs for granted. The problem is that when we do, we often forget to account for our needs. Because when we take our needs for granted, we forget to also account for our wants. We forget to account for the fact that we would rather eat a bowl of pasta than a bag of chips.

So we really need to account for our wants. But the more we account for our wants, the more we forget to account for our needs.

In my case it’s a lack of desire to buy a new car. In the case of cars, it’s the fact that people tend to buy them secondhand. But for the most part, we tend to buy new cars, and that’s where most of our money goes. That’s why most of our car purchases are used. We don’t use them, and then we end up having to buy a new car.

But it’s not just the lack of desire to buy a new car. Its the fact that when we buy a car, we usually have to pay for it in full. The idea that your car is free is, to me, like a mirage. Every time I drive by a car dealership, I see a car for sale that I want and it is priced at that exact price. But you know what? I could just go to the dealership and tell them that I want another car.

After we bought our new car, I asked the salesman if it was possible to get to the dealership and tell them that I wanted another car, he said no, but that they were all the same price anyway.

It’s one of those things that’s so foreign that it’s nearly incomprehensible. But if you ask me, the idea that your car is free is like a mirage. Every time I drive by a car dealership, I see a car for sale that I want and it is priced at that exact price. But you know what I could just go to the dealership and tell them that I want another car.
