The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them. Whereas a person with self-awareness is able to exercise a little meta-cognition and say, “Hmm… every time my sister calls me and asks for money, I end up drinking a lot of vodkas.
In a way, it’s a bit like being on autopilot, only instead of the car being on autopilot, it’s on autopilot in our heads. Because you can’t really stop and think about every little thing that might be going wrong when you’re driving, you only stop when the right situation arises.
The thing is, you can’t control yourself. You can’t just stop and think about it every time you put your head down. In fact, you can’t even stop when the first thing that comes up for you is “Do you want to eat a bag of bananas?” Nope, you can’t stop when youre doing that.
The thing is, you cant even stop when youre doing that. You cant stop when youre thinking about this. In fact, you can do nothing. You cant stop when youre feeling the need to go to school. You cant stop when youre doing something new.
Just stop thinking about it every time you put your head down. Just stop thinking about it every time you put your head down. The world is filled with people that are like you. They don’t have any real sense of the world, they just see what’s going on around them. They have no idea what’s going on around them. It’s just not worth it.
You need to stop being concerned about the things you dont want to think about. You need to stop worrying about things you havent thought about in a long time. When you get too worried about things youve left behind, you tend to forget about them.
I think you do that by not worrying about things you arent concerned with. When you are worried about something its because you are concerned about it. If you are worried about something, then you are concerned about it. If you dont worry about something, then the thing you worry about isnt going to happen.
You are the most concerned person in the world. I know this because I find myself thinking about things that I dont care about more than I should. And then I just start wondering if maybe I should have.
The problem with that is that you are in fact just as concerned about the things you are worried about. Like a dog worrying about food. Dogs worry about food, and then if they dont get enough food, they start getting anxious. The same applies to you. You are worried about things that arent important to you, and you are worried about them because you are concerned about them.
