This is a picture of my sign that I have hung up in my office. There were a number of different reasons for this sign, but the most important reason was to let the world know that I am who I am, and I don’t need to look any other way.
I am an avid supporter of the free speech movement, but I feel like this sign is just another example of how it can lead to discrimination and harassment. I’m sure people can see that this sign is different than other signs I have hung up in my office, but I think it’s just as racist as the others.
I could see how this sign could be problematic, but I think its important to note that the sign isn’t saying “You can’t talk to me, or you won’t be able to find me.” It’s much more of an “If you don’t like what I say, then you can’t find me.” In other words, if you think I’m annoying, then I don’t want you to find me.
The sign is not saying you cant talk to me because I have a face. It is saying you shouldnt be able to talk to me at all. And as long as you dont like hearing what I have to say, you shouldnt be able to find me. In other words, this sign says, “If you cant find me, then you dont like me.
