As a former financial planner, I have always been interested in the concept of acquiring a new skill or habit. But as this article shows, it’s not as simple as that. We need to recognize the value of these habits throughout our life, and we need to learn to value them as they become increasingly automatic.

One of my favorite videos showing how accretive acquisition can be is this one from TED.

The idea is to learn a new skill or habit that you can’t do on autopilot, and that is worth its own value. For instance, if you’re an athlete, you can learn a new skill or habit for yourself by training it yourself.

This is a good example of this principle. Most people try to do something every day that they know they arent good at, and it never works. By training one of these habits at a new skill level, you can improve it. This is a great concept for entrepreneurs. We want our products to be better than any other products, but we also want our customers to be better than any other customers. They can learn what we do to get better, so they can get better.

Inaccuracies are the key to success in business and sales as well. We all make mistakes. A good strategy is to make it a habit to do the same thing over and over and over again. It can feel like you’re doing the same thing over and over again, but when you get right down to it, you’re actually doing a lot more than that. A good example of this principle is when I was in my first year at college.

Once you realize that you are consistently doing the same thing over and over again, you realize that your habits are actually making you a better, more efficient salesperson. Of course, once you’re in the thick of it, you still have a lot of time left on this clock. One of the best ways to increase your productivity is to do the same thing over and over again.

I am a big fan of the accretive acquisition method. You do something that you’ve done a hundred other times, over and over again, and then you do it even faster. Its not that you’re actually going to do it better, but you’re going to do it quicker.

If you’re getting ready to sell your house, chances are you’re going to hire an agent to help you sell it. But what happens if the agent doesnt want to sell it? The agents are not allowed to sell your house on their own, but the agents that do sell it are not subject to the same restrictions.
