There are certain things that are so important to me that I feel the need to pay a dollar of my own money to support charities, cause, and local businesses. Every day, I find myself paying a dollar of my own money to have my favorite restaurants come out to my community and offer me a great meal. Sometimes I still get to eat out, but it’s been a while since the last time I ate out, and it feels like I’ve been gone too long.
I don’t mean to sound overly-grateful for the meal that I get to eat out, but that little bit of money I am able to spend every day is a gift I can’t possibly thank the businesses enough for. I’ll never know the impact that my support has on the lives of those who have benefited from my support.
Sometimes you are able to give back because you are able to recognize that money is an investment in the lives of others. Whether you are able to recognize that or not is up to you. At the end of the day, it doesnt matter. If you are able, then you are able.

It is only when we are able to take the time to really focus on our passions and dreams that we are able to be able to give back. If you have a goal of getting your kids into the right school, it is then a lot easier to dedicate a week each month to that goal. So we can choose to dedicate one day a month to a cause. That is a much easier way to give back.

The good folks over at the local animal shelter have been awesome in helping us out with our fundraiser.
