Because the term self-awareness is not used in the rules of the game I have in mind, I will be using the term self-awareness in this rule. Ill make it a Rule for Self-Awareness.
The word self-awareness is vague and imprecise. Because it is imprecise it is a tool for which we can only hope we are not using. But it has many uses. One of the most useful uses of the term is in its ability to explain a rule to someone who doesn’t understand it. It is a very powerful tool.
This rule has several uses. One is to explain what the rule is in simple, straightforward terms. Another is to point out that the rule is very specific and precise. And finally, it explains why the rule/s are the way they are. The third use is to point out that the game itself is a game. You start the game and then you end it.
