We love this feature. It makes it much easier for our customers to shop for us and it makes it much easier for us to offer the lowest prices to our customers.
Spot Price is a huge feature on our site. With it, we have a new way to find the lowest price for our products. While our search for a product’s Spot Price takes you to the website where the product has been marked down, when you click on the price, you see the price on the individual product page.
While this is a big feature for our site, it’s also a major thing for retailers. Our pricing is set by our own data and we’re constantly looking for ways to improve it, so we’ve also built a spot price calculator. It shows you the lowest price for the product you’re looking at, and a list of retailers who offer the same product at this price.

Yeah, I could be totally off, but I don’t know that I can explain it to you without giving you the whole thing. The thing is, Amazon has been trying to make price comparison more user-friendly for a long time now. They’ve been tweaking prices a little bit since the beginning. They recently started making it so you can see the entire price history on a single page.
Thats pretty brilliant. It helps you see how much things are selling for right now and instantly compare them to other items. It also helps you see the differences between similar products and items that are selling at different price points. But, in reality, it is probably better to just look at the items individually and see how much each cost, and then go from there.
